VfB Stuttgart can rely on a large group of volunteers who work at home games. These volunteers are active in six different areas: outside the arena in the guidance, then there is a stadium, media, inclusion and sustainability team as well as guest fan support.

Who are the Volunteers?

The volunteers have been with VfB since the 2011/2012 season. They are active in six different areas. Manuel Nonnenmacher is the team leader of the stadium team. The 33-year-old has been a volunteer for 12 years.

What are their tasks?

The stadium team is also used during the game. During the game, the stadium team ensures that everything is in the right place. If a player runs over a so-called Camcarpet and it slips or the soft riders are kicked away during a throw-in, the stadium team takes care of it.
