VfB Stuttgart are facing growing interest in their centre-back Finn Jeltsch. Scouts from Barcelona and Inter Milan watched the 20-year-old during last month's Champions League match against Viking Stavanger.

Jeltsch, who moved from 1. FC Nürnberg to Stuttgart for €9.5 million in 2025, has become a regular starter. He has been in the starting line-up for all six competitive matches this season. His contract with VfB runs until 2029, strengthening the club's negotiating position. In the event of a sale, a transfer fee in the region of €45 million could be on the cards.

The young German was recently called up to the national team and was an unused substitute in the 2-0 Nations League win over Serbia. A potential debut against Greece on Sunday remains a possibility.

Despite the speculation, Jeltsch is focused on his duties at VfB. The club sits 15th in the Bundesliga with three points from four games but has started an upward trend with two consecutive wins. Their recent form reads WWLLW. The next challenge is an away fixture against 12th-placed SC Paderborn 07 on October 10th.
