VfB Stuttgart: Jovan Milosevic Transfer Rumor - Betis Sevilla shows Interest
VfB Stuttgart is facing a difficult decision. The 21-year-old striker Jovan Milosevic may transfer to Spain. The Spanish top-flight club Betis Sevilla shows interest in the young attacker.
With the transfer of Dzenan Pejcinovic, the VfB Stuttgart has secured its desired striker in the summer. Alongside Deniz Undav and Ermedin Demirovic, Pejcinovic is likely to be one of the attackers, but this may leave little room for another VfB player: Jovan Milosevic. The attacker was loaned to Werder Bremen in the previous winter break. There, he scored three goals in 13 Bundesliga games and created another. At VfB Stuttgart, the bank seat is now threatened, as the trio Undav, Demirovic, and the 25-million-euro newcomer Pejcinovic seems to have little room for another player.
VfB Stuttgart: What does this mean for Jovan Milosevic?
The 21-year-old has a contract until 2029 and a market value of around seven million euros, according to transfermarkt.de. VfB Stuttgart may now let Milosevic go. Already in early July, there was an offer from Greece. Milosevic, however, likely rejected a transfer to Olympiakos Piraeus.
VfB Stuttgart: What's next?
Whether Milosevic will transfer or only be loaned out remains to be seen. The striker is only 21 years old, has now also gained experience in the Bundesliga after several loans, and could also shine in the future at VfB Stuttgart.
VfB Stuttgart currently sits in third place in the Bundesliga with 56 points. The team is 20 points behind the league leaders Bayern Munich. In their next game, VfB Stuttgart will face 1899 Hoffenheim, who are in sixth place in the table.
